Rather than having old, broken or faulty mobile phones and devices collecting dust in your drawers and cupboards you can sell them to us at FoneRepair and we will recycle them for you. All you need to do is get in touch to provide us with initial information about your device(s) and we will then provide a provisional quotation regarding it's value. Once we have then checked the device both visually, and using specialist diagnostic tools, we will then either proceed with purchase or provide a revised non-obligation quote for your final decision.


We Do Our Best To Make Things Simple, So Our Full Buyback Process is:

  • You tell us - the model , make, capacity, network lock status and cosmetic condition.
  • Our team offer a provisional evaluation based on the information provided and provide a unique job reference number (URN).
  • All job reference documentation is updated on our system(s) which logs, customer name, address, email address, IMEI, contact number and value offered.
  • Note: All Cloud Locks or Google Locks need to be removed and it is your responsibility as the customer to ensure this is done. We can provide assistance and guidance on how to do this, however, trade-in will not be eligible if this is not complete.
  • An appointment is then booked to bring the device(s) to our facility for inspection or alternatively we send out a pre-paid envelope.
  • An IMEI check is conducted to ensure goods are not registered as lost or stolen with the CheckMEND device check database.
  • Each device will then be processed by our technicians undertaking visual checks and a full diagnostic check using Blackbeck Analyst ™ software. This gives a detailed functionality report on your device and typically checks the function of:

  • Using the detailed functionality report we then check the initial information to check for any anomalies.
  • An authority to proceed with purchase or a revised quotation is raised and sent to you for confirmation.
  • If you to choose to proceed, fantastic! We will arrange payment to you via an agreed method.
  • If you choose not to proceed, not a problem we can arrange for return delivery to you.
  • The buyback process is now complete and, before being recycled, any devices are now passed through our secure datawipe process to securely destroy all data and ensure your personal information is kept protected.
